Kim Peng was trained in Banking & Finance from Monash University, Australia and achieved 100% distinctions. He was invited into Golden Key National Honour Society for top scholastic achievement & excellence.
Leadership Profile
Presently holding a Major(NS) rank in the Army, Kim Peng has extensive leadership experiences serving in the SAF. He was commissioned as an officer in 1997 when he won 2 out of 3 individual awards. Kim Peng was given the prestigious Sword of Honour title as well as the Best in Knowledge award. Despite numerous calls to join the force as a regular, he decided to pursue his greater love for finance. During his NS years, he was awarded the highly regarded Formation NSMen of the Year in 2006 and 2009 for outstanding performance and dedication to National Service. In addition, his unit won the Best NS Unit Award 3 years in a row in 2007, 2008 and 2009. More recently he won the Distinguished Graduate Award from Singapore Command and Staff College. Kim Peng is now concurrently serving as an S3 and a Bn 2IC in two different NS units, leading a combined of more than 1,000 soldiers.
